Club. It has all our mothers,
grandmothers, aunts, teachers, and family friends pictured along with their
favorite recipes, including
Mrs. Armstrong's recipe
for salad dressing. This cookbook was the only cookbook in our house
when I was growing up in the 1950’s. I still have the tattered and torn cookbook from my mother's kitchen. The page that contains the
brownie recipe is almost unreadable, with smudges of cocoa and flour from
decades ago.
But now I have a new copy! The
cookbook has been wonderfully reprinted complete with the beautiful red, spiral
bound cover. This cookbook makes a
great gift for anyone with connections to Ryan.
I bought one for my daughter and for my grandson.
